If you have a waterwesel/wiggler/ thing taking up space in your bator, you are wasting space, in my opinion.
Measure air temps at egg height:
!01.5 for still air
and
99.5 for forced air.
If you are reading air temps at egg height, you are more able to control your incubation, in my opinion.
I wonder how many people had a perfect hatch going right up to Day 18???
Moved the viable eggs out of the turner to the floor and wondered why the chicks didn't hatch??
Did you adjust the thermostat, when you moved the eggs to lower in the incubator?
There is a 4+ degree difference between egg height in the turner and egg height laying on their side (here) in the hatcher.
