Need some information on hatching turkey eggs. I have a two-year-old blue slate turkey she has laid up to 16 eggs and has only set on her eggs in short intervals. I understand they want continue to set unless they have the amount of eggs they wish to have or they have a comfortable safe sitting area. She started to set after a day then start the eggs got cold. She laid a couple more eggs few days later I noticed she was sitting again but next day she was off again. So I took the eggs from her to incubate and hatch myself. How can I tell which ones are OK if they were warm thing cold? How cold is too cold for them to survive? Where do I go from here to incubate?

Read Hatching Eggs 101 by @Sally Sunshine

Sitting on the eggs temporarily while preparing to lay an egg is not the same as going broody as does not have the same effect on the eggs as when a hen is broody. The information that I have seen is that the embryos in the eggs can survive down to 27°F.

You won't be able to tell which eggs are viable until after you have been incubating. I would not recommend trying to candle them until they have been in the incubator for at least 10 days. Even then I would not be in a big hurry to discard ones that aren't showing real good veining. I personally don't candle turkey eggs until day 25 which is lockdown day for turkey eggs.

Good luck.
