Twice with pox?

Can chickens get fowl pox twice? If so can you give the vaccine while or after the have fowl pox? New to this.

I haven't dealt with fowl pox, but I thought once a chicken/flock had fowl pox, they were then immune to getting it again. But I'm learning new things every day.
