Twilight Addiction

Oh yes your on to somthing there luvmychicknkids. He has such a different face from normal and his irky smile is to die for he is a VERY good Edward.

He sings the song Let me sign its the song playing when he is suching the Venom from her arm in the movie. He sings another in the movie but I can't remember it right off the top of my head. It plays in the movie when they are at the resturant. (Bella and Edward)

I think this is a very important statement!!!

The reason I found Edward to be sooooooooo hot was the fact he looks.....off, if you will. Not like a normal person. I could honestly believe he is hundreds of years old. When I find my hot vampire to to change me and carry me away he is gonna have to have that so sexy un-dead look Edward has. OH YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Before he were to turn me, I don't know how I'd feel about him watching me sleep though.

Yeah. I refuse to watch the movie. I liked the books too much, way before they thought about a movie. I'm hecka scared the movie will ruin it, like movies ruin so many other good books.

I kinda look at movies vs books the way I do instant mashed potatoes vs real mashed potatoes.

I LOVE instant mashed potatoes but don't think of them as even similar to REAL mashed potatoes. I eat them at times I wouldn't eat real ones, not as a substitute for them.

You can love both, just in a different way.

(yes, that was stupid)

I avoided this thread, I swore I wouldn't read it,,, but it's late, I'm bored, and waiting for a couple of pies to finish before I can sleep.
I haven't read the books, Steven keeps insisting I do that, my principal is reading them! I watched the movie at home with Steven the day it came it on DVD, didn't see it in the theatre which was a very good thing I would have been drawn and quartered by the teen scene. The acting was atrocious! When Edward makes Bella say "Vampire" it just solidified in my mind that the poor girl just can't act, there was no emotion, fright, nervousness, nothing. It's like they all over-dosed on Botox or something.
I did enjoy the kitchen scene when they go to all the trouble and she tries to be nice but he tells them she already ate. Then her comment about she'll be the meal if she says anything.
The bad vamps were parodies, but the tracker James wasn't too bad.
My favorite character though was Alice, she was very graceful and carried off her part very well I thought. She's a good pitcher too, good form, looks like she took ballet, and her facial expressions were good. I liked the part where she jumps on the tracker and rips his head off.
There is supposed to be so much tension between the vamps and the wolf clans, but they don't carry it off very well. Just glaring at each other doesn't make it work.
I had to get up and take a break a few times the first time we watched the movie at home, I watched it a second time and tried to have a more open mind considering it is written for a very young group. They don't look for plot, character development, story-lines or anything like that; they look for spiky hair, brooding eyes, and pale faces! Looking at it like a child, I enjoyed it more.

EDTA: Did you notice when running through the wood wearing Bella's jacket, Rosalee rubbed against the tree, but she also breathed on it, to purposely let the tracker know what they were doing?
