Todays update
Day 12
Both sets very active
Babies are growing really well
The grandkids got to watch them today
We could see them kicking away and the little toes , beaks , bum , head and eyes
Very exciting
We have named egg # 1 blizzard and ice
Egg # 2 river and rain
It’s been blizzards for days and lots of ice
We had rain before each blizzard
Let’s keep the positive vibes going for these two sets of miracles

Update day 13
We are one day away from the half way mark
All 4 babies are still active
Nice strong looking veins
I see both babies in their own space so hopefully they don’t grow into each other
There was growth again today
Air cells are growing but at a slower rate ( thankfully ) I hope we can keep them like this
I will do a weigh in again on Thursday at the 16 day mark
Just through I would share a photo of my some if my ducks who came in to hang out while I cleaned the pen this morning
My husky has really taken ti look after these guys and they are very relaxed about her being there
I never leave her unattended in there or the smaller blocked off pen but she does hang out in the big yard when they free range and is very gentle around them
She won’t even walk by till they have all crossed in front of her
She follows me in the duck house every morning and stays till I’m done cleaning

Day 14
Happy 2 week to our little ones
They are getting bigger and movement are great
I did say I would weight on Thursday day 16 but I meant Friday
I will also do an updated video at that time
Veins still look good
Air cells are good
I took a few screen shots tiday just so you can see how big the darker spots ( babies ) are getting
All 4 were moving but the grandkids were very loud so recording wasn’t working lol
In the one egg you can see how thick and nice the veins are
Baby was moving in and out of the area

they look wonderful!! You must be so happy that theyre doing so well!! I sure hope they make it all the way, and safely through hatch. Cant wait to see an update video!

Day 15 update
I was able to get a video of the babies moving.
I show the air cell and how it’s growing but very slowly. I marked it at day 9 as I say in the video you can see the pencil marks
Babies are growing but also lots of room still to fill in the egg
The blood veins are very strong looking. I’m very happy so far with how it’s going

After seeing what my husky did to my ducks…it’s nice to see one being so good! My sister in law had the same problem with her husky and chickens. So applause to your beautiful husky!!

She is also 11.5 years old
She has always been a very gentle dog
