I have twin six-month old Rhode Island Reds. One reliably lays two eggs a day, the other has never laid an egg. I can't see any health issues, they appear very simularly. Any suggestions?
Thank you!

Actually I don't 'know' that only one is laying. They sleep in divided nesting boxes. For two eggs to be in one box, in the same corner, one would have to lay an egg, swap places with the other bird who would then lay her egg beside it (eggs are always together in the same spot). It is possibe I suppose. The boxes have sliding doors to close them in at night which I never close but I will close them in tonight and we'll find out!

Sounds like you have a case of the ever-popular “we have nine boxes, but they all want to lay in the same one” syndrome!

If they’re laying in a corner, it might be that as RIRs, they’re on the long side, and it’s more comfortable for them to nest diagonally. My Buff Orpington does this.

Alternatively, and perhaps equally likely, they’ve put their heads together to dream up a way of making you crazy. 🐓
