I have some Buff Orpingtons that are 17 weeks old. One of the hens does a little twirling dance when I reach down to pet her. Out of 10 birds, a few different breeds, she's the only one that behaves this way. Any ideas? She seems fine otherwise. She is also my most chatty hen and the one that is me around the enclosed chicken yard. I think it's cute but I want to make sure sge's okay. She has been doing it for about a week. I did remove 2 roosters from the flock last week because they were mean. No more roosters.

It sounds to me like a roosters mating dance. Can you post a photo? Orps are slower to mature so it may just not be as obvious as the 2 cockerels you already got rid of.
Trying to get a photo, but all the birds make little clucking noises. Nothing even close to a rooster noise

Video would be great...could be a neurological issue.
