Hello everybody, I saw a couple days ago that one of my chickens has one finger twisted to the side. She is walking normal and doesn’t seem to bother her but I am first time chickens owner and I don’t know if that could affect her in the future.
Thank you!

It could be a defect. If the chicken is walking "normal" and not limping, that's what I think. We had a couple of AWB chickens that had a couple of their toes curled, I actually thought they were broken but they walked around fine and no issues. We determined it was a defect.

Thank you so much!! I will keep an eye on her.

I also have a pullet with the same problem on both feet. Just like yours, she walks around like normal and without looking at her feet, you’d never be able to tell that something was different. I created a thread a few months ago asking about this, and the people who replied said that they will stay like that but will not affect her in any way :).

I really appreciate you guys! I was a bit worried. I am going to read your post!

My brahma had a twisted toe. Her nail is still twisted. For awhile she was limping and i was gonna get rid of her. But then she started walking fine And she is still walking fine.
