Twitching chick?

I have a two week old Silkie and his/her head keeps twitching or shaking side to side... I have only noticed it when she/he is a little cold. Any ideas as to what it might be?

I have no idea. But I had one do that for a couple of weeks. She got over it and has been fine ever since.

That will work eggs will work too I would cut one gel Vit. E and then some hard boiled egg both. Good luck

Thanks! I'll try the hard boiled egg first, I don't really like pills, or anything too processed for my babies...

I notice some of my chicks do that too... not all the time though. I'll have to try some egg. Thanks for asking this question. I would have never thought of giving vit. E and eggs

I just brought home 6 chicks today, silkies, 3-4 weeks old. I noticed one of them with this twitch as well.
Now if I feed them a hard boiled egg, do they need some grit with that.
I don't have baby grit on hand.
I do have some poule vite??
no vit. E pills either.
or will it grow out of that. It's not constantly doing it, just periodically.

I don't think grit is needed for digestion of eggs since eggs are soft.
