Twitchy Head

Today we took our chickies out for some fresh air. They were out for quite some time today.

Anyways, my husband and i noticed tonight that one of them keeps twitching it's head. Even when sleeping or trying to sleep.

Any thoughts on what we should do?

Could be shivering. How old are the chicks? What's the brooder temp?

It's about 4 weeks old. That's the only one that is twitching like that, all the others are fine. I'll have to check the temp in there though.

What is peeping really loud? That would mean it was cold. Hmmm - as for the twitching............I haven't heard of it before.

Do you think it's possible that one of those nats that fly around might have flown into its ear??

Could be that or inhaled something up it nostril and is trying to get it out maybe.............
