Two 14 week old Polish chickens

I got these two chickens about 14 weeks ago. We will just refer to them as silver and gold because I haven't named them yet. The other day the silver one started making a really strange noise... I suspect it was trying to crow but I can't be certain. It only made the noise maybe 3 or 4 times and I have not heard it again since. Male or females?




Third picture is a bit blurry but I was trying to show it's tail feathers. Little buggers are tough to photograph sometimes.

All righty then. So question number two. I have about 40 hens. Will 5 roosters all get along together? The 2 adult roosters are big wimps, they don't fight with each other and wouldn't dare come near me. They also don't mess with my other three roosters(these 2 polish and 1 welsummer, also aged 14 weeks). Everything seems peaceful right now. They all mingle together. What do you think?

I'll give you a firm 'maybe' on coexistence. The cockerels may start feeling their oats, but a good butt kicking by the flock roosters may nip that in the bud.
