Imo you can never really tell with Polish. This was my “little girl” she was so dainty, her pouff was perfectly round. It was an absolute shock when I returned home from holiday to hear her crowing and sprouting all kinds of crazy head feathers
even “her” legs were thin, I was completely gobsmacked. Now I go with the theory, until it lays an egg or crows I won’t take anything for granted. I had one that I was convinced was a cockerel, so many cockerel traits, then she laid an egg
