Two babies

So my brooder hen managed to hatch two babies. The first one is doing fine with her but she started pecking the second one badly so I removed it. It has a wound on it's neck from her. I would like to try and put the second chick back with her after it heals. What do you think?

I think it would probably be best to keep it away from the mother.
