FOOD: what are you having?

Nice! What brand did you get?
It's an LG. Im taking a gamble here with this. Considering they don't really service this brand in my area. But it was on a great sale and couldn't pass it up. I got this one a step below the top becuase it has a double element in the oven rather than one. And the airfry function has me excited 😂. We'll see! Hoping for a smooth run!

Nice! LG makes great appliances, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

Not sure how airfry would work in an oven though. My daughter has a dedicated air fryer and it makes a god awful mess…

Apologies for the long winded supper relay. Busted out the clay roaster again! I decided to make an "Asian roasted chicken" this moring I took some oil (Avocado and sesame oil ) and threw in a bunch of minced ginger, garlic, chili flake, shallot, and green onion stalks and fried them up. Used some chicken stock, lemon juice, and Chinese cooking wine. Threw in some star anise, cardamom, and coriander seed. Let it cook down real thick and finshed it off with some soy sauce and honey (it took like 2 1/2 hours 😮‍💨) used it as a glaze to coat the chicken and garnish. Rubbed the chicken with some oil mixed with sesame oil. Seasoned it with a season blend called Lake shore Shallot and herb (got it at Costco, highly recommend it) stuffed the cavity with ginger, garlic, star anise, coriander, and green onion stalks. Threw it on a bed of yellow Onion roasted until done! Made a quick pickle cucumber salad with some shallot. And then a cold rice noodle salad as well (very easy, very delicious) but 10/10 for the chicken experiment. Will definitely be making it again. ✅

Air fry on an oven?! :O
Yes! 😭 I saw that it has this function. Along with Convection and traditional bake functions. I was in the market for a new airfryer now I won't have to take up more cupboard or countertop space!

I can only assume it has to do with the fan from the Convection feature? Not entirely sure. Not sold entirely lol, gimmicks run amuck these days 😆
