Ok, this is killing me, because i love my ducks so very much, but I'm moving and where I'm going they don't legally allow ducks, I've been caring for 200+ ducks, geese, coots and others at the bird sanctuary i live at, but I've got two ducks of my own and i do not feel safe leaving them because of all the hazards at the sanctuary, from fishing line amputated legs, hooks in mouths and body parts, poisoned by the pollution in the water (blue algae) I've been feeding all those birds for years now, but leave my babies there, no not happening, I've got a 2 year old female and a 3 year old male, the female i raised from a baby with her sister (we lost her on Christmas Eve after some idiot ran her over, hence why i won't leave them) she's blue eyed sweetheart who loves peas and worms, i raised and spoiled her, the male/drake he was a duck that somebody dropped in the park and I've been caring for him ever since, he's been a faithful companion to my girls, he lost his first mate in the same spot i lost my girl, so these two must stay together, they're well behaved, have great personalities, Rockette the female will eat from your hands and let you steal a hug, but Poppa the male, he keeps to himself. I'm looking for somebody who wants to add these wonderful loving ducks to their home and will love and care for them like i did. I hate this and it's crushing me, because these ducks mean the world to me. If you or someone you know can provide a home, please let me know.
