Two Broody hens on same nest?

our buff has been sitting on a nest for 2 weeks and another hen has been laying eggs on top of her then two days ago she decided to join the other hen! now they are on two different nest and are happy- what should we expect when they start to hatch-does the mom take care of them? we were going to seperate them and provide food for chicks and water and clean bed- any other advice would be appreciated.

Have banty hens that have done that twice.They both sat together and took turns.Chicks hatched and they raised 8 babies together.Altho one gave up motherhood sooner than they other they repeated the next year!?
