Picked up some extra pallets from my day job, gonna make a temp coop/ run for the new girls, their growing so fast next Tuesday they’ll be 3 weeks and there already almost fully feathered!!!! The Austra Whites are big girls already

When I do a hatch, I put mine out there in the growout pen at 3 week's old. By then they have gotten too rambunctious in the brooder in the house. They need to learn that they are chicken's. The adult's can see them, but they can't get to them.

Yep that’s exactly the point they’re at running around like mad girls . Hoping to get their area built up this weekend and move them out next week

I'm hoping to get some Buff Leghorn hatching egg's sometime in May. Those are hard to find. I like to hatch my own. I have many colors of the Leghorn's now, and as of yesterday I got 200 egg's this month out of 13 of those girl's.

I keep the one's that I like best and then sell some of the other's.

Ahh ok you must have land…. We live in the city so we’re already above the number we’re supposed to have. Not sure how people can be ok with just 6 chickens…..

Yes, I'm on 3 1/2 acres, but with all of this new housing development coming in, the city is trying to move in on me.
