Two chicken chicks hatched underneath my broody Cayuga duck.

The most interesting thing occured, my Cayuga Hen has hatched two chicken chicks, and so far just one duckling. Should I take them away and feed them underneath a heat lamp, or let her tend the babies

If she has access to swimming water, I would take the chicks away from her.

Well, I am rehoming the duck and ducklings with a family that owns a pond asap, because I dont own a pond

I have successfully raised ducklings under chicken hens many times, but chicks under duck hens can get squished or chilled/drowned when their mothers go swimming.

How should I deal with the chicks, put them under direct heat lamp?
