Two chickens gone off lay

I lent my two chickens to my son whilst on holiday for a week. He has 3 chickens already so we kept my two seperated from them with some chicken wire. One of my hens was broody before I took it round and went off lay but now they have both returned home, the young point of lay hen which only started laying some 4-6 weeks ago has also gone off lay. They both look healthy and neither seem broody at present, but no eggs from either. Duh!

Any ideas?

Well, I don't know much about chickens but I heard that if quails get stressed out, they stop laying for 6 weeks.
