Two Chickens. One Bites... The Other Doesn't

My two-year-old chicken acts like a rooster. We have two Leghorn chickens. One of them bites and the other does nothing. How come?

She bites because she wants to subordinate you. Show her that you are bigger and stronger. When she comes to peck/bite, force her firmly to the ground.

2x sourland. You can also "peck" her back with your finger sorta chasing her a little while you "peck" to show her who is the alpha chicken

Sometimes that can actually escalate the aggression as can swatting or kicking at the bird.

I've also heard that you can't use a broom or any other object to stop a chicken from biting you because they think that the broom or whatever object you used is the boss and not you.

I don't mean running after the bird just if they move don't let them just run away before you peck them a few times

What do you mean "acts the like a rooster"?
Is it a male or is it just the biting you are referring too?

Apologize for the late reply but it's just the biting that I'm referring to. No signs of crowing.
