Two dead RIR - what is doing it???

I found one chicken dead in the coop on last Sunday. She had a hole the size of a baseball in her side and there were no sign of a struggle. I found another on yesterday - exactly the same and all of the eggs were missing. We started with 6 hens and are now down to 4. Its not a big flock but we love them all. Does anyone have any idea what could be doing this?

Is your coop predator proof? Could a coon be sticking his little paws in there? Sound like a predator for sure. Do you see places in your coop that rats, coons, possums, weasels, could enter or reach through? If all the eggs are gone it sound like a predator is able to come in completely. Sorry for your losses.
