I recently lost all but one chicken to a bear. The one who lived fled to the lower area where the ducks were and, for whatever reason, the bear didn't get them. They are all buddies but does the chicken need other chickens? I was hoping to wait until she gets broody and give her some eggs or chicks. Would it be unhealthy for her to hang with the ducks as her flock for a few months?

Birds are flock animals, so if she has taken to the ducks and treats them like part of her flock she may be fine for a little while. If you want to wait and have her hatch chicks but are concerned she'll be lonely not having anyone to "talk" to you could see if anyone in your area on craigslist is looking to get rid of a hen or two so that she has another chicken buddy.

We started out with a mix flock of Two Turkeys Four Runner Duck and two Pekin. We got them all at the same time. I honestly have to admit I am horrified of chickens. Bad experience as a child. Anyway we worried about the Turkeys and Ducks together. I think our turkeys are really ducks. They stand in our kiddie pool with them and everything. Our Tom Turkey Dinner protects our flock. He is the alpha Ducks. So I hope your experience is like mine and everyone gets along and they except her in. It is so enjoyable to watch them all together.
