my hybrids (not golden comet, but similar) are super sweet! do all your austrolorps lay like that?

All my astrolorps do but my comet eggs are usually slimy and they are mean birds. I kind of wonder if it’s the people that had them before that mistreated them. :/ I’m wondering if they will warm up eventually but they are honestly getting old anyway so they might get sent to freezer camp before seasons change

If they’re rescues (ex-battery) maybe that’s the case.

The comets and the amberlinks are with exception of one or two amberlinks and one or two friendly comets. But all my astrolorps are kind so I wonder if it’s a breed thing

you guys should breed from these birds then send me the eggs. I could do with a flock of hens laying twice a day.

Has she had any troubles yet with laying an egg?

No. She seems fine. And she is brave too ,like to roam around alone until sunset, after rest of them go to sleep

Well then, I guess all you can really do is monitor her. As there's not much you can do to fix her laying two eggs a day.

I’d say laying to eggs a day is fixed
