Two eggs in one???

Hi! I have an olive egger (no Roos) who has always laid beautiful eggs. This morning I cracked open one to use and this is what came out. The white part is kind of hard to the touch. I’ve never seen anything like this so I’m super curious what this is. Ideas???

As I’m looking closer. It resembles a teeny tiny white egg that hasn’t gotten the olive pigment yet. I wonder…

The only way to find out is to break it and see if it has its own yolk.

Hens can lay many kinds of weird eggs!

It took some work with a fork and knife but I got it. It looks like the interior of a fairy egg where it only had whites inside…

Do you see that small chunk in the picture, below the yolk? She may have an infection of her reproductive system called salpingitis.
