Hello all!

I’m doing my second ever round of incubating duck eggs and came across an odd egg when candling tonight… what looked like two masses/embryos were moving around in this egg… am I just seeing things? Has anyone had this happen/seen this before?

Nope, It's one baby. :) It's possible, but most of the time the chicks/ducklings/goslings...etc would pass away in the egg or shortly after hatching. Sometimes they might pass during hatching and not live a healthy life. I've incubated many ducklings and 20+ chicks, so it's very common in the beginning to see two dark blobs moving and switching between each other.😁
