Well, quail are like 1/4 of a chicken, and bantams are like 1/2 of a standard chicken, so maybe you could recalculate how many “chickens” you have and it won’t be so bad This is what I do - bantam chickens only count as 1/2 of a chicken!

I love this math . . . .I need more cochin bantams. I really don't, but want and need are interchangeable with chicken math.
