Two hens on chicks in the same pen?

I had two broodies and put them on chicks on the same day. At the last minute, I thought I should seperate them but the space is much more awkward and smaller that way. Would it cause havoc putting the two families together? The hens are each very protective and I don't know what would happen if a chick goes to the wrong mom. I put the chicks under on Friday eve, it is now Monday morning.Thanks.

If you haven't had a problem yet, I'd probably leave them alone. Changing anything at this point might upset things iin itself. I've had 3 broodies raise chicks together, sharing mother duties, without a problem. It just depends on the individual chickens.

I did separate them ....I'd like to put them together. I guess I will wait awhile. Thanks.
