Oh man Akcountrygirl.. I think you win the prize. I relooked at the Silver Phoenixes and youre right about the legs... wow they look so close! But Yeap her little legs are school bus yellow. So I think youre right about her being a silver leghorn! Haha SO CONFUSING! LOL

LOL. It can be very confusing when several breeds come in the same color variety (in this case silver duckwing coloration). That's when you go to other tell tales - ear lobe color (she's young yet but she should develop a white earlobe), skin color, leg color, and, even, the color on the bottom of the feet. Type of comb, body shape, tail/wing carriage also all play a part in determining the breed. Phoenix will typically have a little longer back, longer tail, and even the hens will have longer "saddle" feathers than other breeds.

Your little crele OEG is cute. You can send him up here. I have a couple OEG pullets who would welcome a little Naploean like him.

Haha Nooooo!! I lub her! She reminds me of the roadrunners we get out in the country! If she would have shown those colours when she was younger I would have named her that or "Meep" LOL
