Two Lavender Orpington Project Chicks

Here's pic's of my 2 Lav Orp chicks, also 4 wks old.

See how in the 2nd pic, one has a tail and one doesn't? Hoping that means I have one male and one female, but I guess time will tell.

I got these from BackyardFarm who got hers from Hinkjc.

Both of those look like boys to me too. Big ankles, pink comb, manly bearing...

I did have a blue pullet in with the Lavenders for awhile (because she was picked on by others, and was safe with the Lavenders). I did not think I hatched any eggs at that time, but I could have. I also had Jersey Giants eggs in that hatch, Julie.

im going to guess that the larger and darker one is male and the other is female but it is a little early to tell
