Y es, for me it would be a waste to cook the bones. Not only does it make the bones more brittle, but much of what the dog really needs is destroyed by the heat, or stays in the pot after it is cooked.

The fat turns to grease, the good amino acids, the taurine and the arginine, are destroyed, and the bone is made brittle.

Freezing is fine, but otherwise, I do nothing to bones except hand them to my dogs.
