Hello!
We live in Texoma on 26 acres and have built our first coop in the last few months. We are fairly new to the hobby and went all in with 40 chicks raised in two brooders in our home office. It was challenging but they are all out in the Americoop living their best lives. We lost a few along the way and gave some to a neighbor, so we are down to 19 (hopefully all) girls. They are all between 11-14 weeks old.

We have Buffs, Barred Rock, Wyandottes, Easter Eggers, Speckled Sussex, Salmon Favorelle and a few mysterious ones that we aren't sure of! We love watching the girls free range in a protected area, giving them the healthiest, natural and organic life we can. We are excited for the next few months when they should start laying.

We're both creative people with lots of hobbies. We've built our own Barndo from the walls in, the coop, outdoor kitchen, furniture, decor and more. We are never short on projects, as most of them require a do-over. The chicken run will be getting an expansion wing in the next few weeks!

We have two indoor Bengal cats and one outdoor stray kitty named "Chicken". Looking forward to being part of the community!
