Two New Chickens that Fly

This is what our bigger of the two new ones look like. I think she is a Dominique Chicken. I don't see any signs of it being a rooster.
This could also be a Barred Plymouth Rock.

If pink/whitish grey legs it could be a Cuckoo Marans.

Neither are my images.

Dominques are much different in type:

The pervious owners said they only got one egg from them. They were chicks at Easter. I feed my Red rhode islands laying feed and they lay everyday. Do you think they will start laying soon my new ones??? I don't they were getting feed laying feed just scraps!!!

They look very healthy. They should not be fed layer until they are laying. Any birds not laying should not have layer.. The layer feed has additional calcium that their kidneys have to filter out. It's not a big deal if only for a short amount of time (for those not laying) but extended periods can cause serious kidney/liver damage and gout.

I have NEVER fed layer. Ever. I carry roughly 125 birds through the winter and close in on 300 in the summer. Never is layer even a choice for me. What we do here is offer non-medicated Starter (at least 18% protein), whole grains (Barley, Oats, Wheat, BOSS and Corn) and Oyster shell on the side (as well as scraps). Most importantly they get forage (grass, bugs, leaves, etc).

Both of the breeds you posted are not early layers. The Wyandotte looks like she is laying though, and if she is not, she will very soon.
