Two new chickens today

went to the pigeon show and swap meet in Burlington IA today and I bought a female silky and female gold crested cochrin. Gonna introduce them to the others tonight, theyre in a cage in the coop now.

Congrats!

We went to the banty show in Middleboro MA today. Got my daughter a splash female silkie and 4 modern birchen game hens...1 month olds...soooo cute and funny with those looong legs! we put them in with our 5 wk old Porcelain D'uccle and I swear it was chirping "What the heck!?!" lol

Our new Silkie is in with the other hens...we have a buff silkie hen.

Cool...I had planned to go to the NEBC show today, but my son wanted to have friends over instead.

He also calls the Modern Games "Raptor Legs" because of those long legs.
For both of you, you should quarantine your birds for a month before you put them in with your established flock.
