I recently hatched out these two chicks from mixed eggs. The light chick hatched from a blueish green egg and the dark chick from a cream colored egg. Any guesses as to what breed? I think the darker one has muffs.

Thank you much, I appreciate the information too! You gave a fantastic description.I think they are both Easter eggers. The darker one came from a cream egg, but Easter eggers lay many different colors. Or perhaps just the father was an Easter egger. The chick has the little beard and looks to have a pea comb. The other came from a blue egg so its mother was probably an Ameraucana, Easter egger or Legbar. Any of those breeds mixed with something else would fall under the broad category of Easter egger.
Thanks, and you're welcome! Those chicks are really cute. I hope they thrive for you.Thank you much, I appreciate the information too! You gave a fantastic description.![]()
