My alpha male is a bantam, and now that my Australorp has matured, is starting to act aggressively toward him.

I really don't have the space to keep them separated for any length of time, and am hoping they will settle down.

Pie in the sky??

The bantie was a freebie, whereas the Australorp is a breed I really want to keep, so if anyone goes, it's the bantie but I'm hoping there's another way...

I keep two roosters for awhile. My alpha was very dominant and the beta very submissive. It worked and is not the reason that I re-homed the alpha. Some mild chasing went on, but that's about it.
If it doesn't settle down in a few weeks, once they've had a chance to sort it out, you might have to think about re-homing one.

Thanks for the replies!

That's a fine thread and goes into a lot of depth, so let's close this one and head over there!
