Two Roos ...two flocks?

So, it is looking like the 12 pullet flock I received 6 weeks ago is looking more like 10 pullets and 2 cockerels (thank you to this site and it's very helpful and knowledgable members helping to decided the sex of the two boys!)......Since getting rid of one of the cockerels in any form is not an option, what to do? Add a few news hens? Make a new coop with new hens for one of the cockerels......if I did that, would they need to be the same age-ish? It would be fun to get some laying hens, but would my boy be too little for the older ladies? What to do?!

I think you might be okay since they are growing up together. If they do start to fight, you can get another bunch of pullets, split the flock you have, and then add half of the new guys to the existing flocks once they are a few months old. At least, that's how I would try to do it. But they might get along!

Since they are raised together, I wouldn't worry too much about them getting along. Of more concern is the ratio of roos to hens. Since you really only need 1 roo per 10 hens, you might find that twice that many means the hens are being over-mated. For that reason, you might consider doubling the number of hens you have. Or getting rid of one of the roos.
