Hey all, new here.
Chicken novice as well. I have googled and looked but can’t seem to find same thing.
In the last month I’ve had 1 year old chickens develop same symptoms.
Their comb goes from bright red to dull light greyish still a little red
They get to where they don’t want to walk. Very unstable. Very lethargic. Will just sit in corner of coop.
I put the first one down. And now I have a second one doing the same thing.
Not egg bound, vent is clear
And this morning was just fine.
Thanks for the help,
Daniel

Please provide more information on your coop, run or free range setup. What feed you use, what treats you give and how often and if their crops were emptying overnight. Any differences in poo. Have you had any recent additions to your flock. Where you are located generally so we have an idea of weather conditions in your area. Any other symptoms you noticed. If you can add pictures of sick bird and poo too. The more info you can give the better so we can try to help you.
