Hi guys

Just a little concern

I have the hovabator genesis 1588 (the messiah of incubators apparently)

I have two of the springfield hygrometer/temperature gauges they both read the temperature exactly the same, but one reads 65% and the other 55% on the humidity.

I followed the directions on the 1588 and filled the correct trough. I want to assume that the one reading 55% is the more accurate as the 1588 is a very reliable incubator. Is there a way to test these springfield devices? reset them to get the proper reading?

thank you

Put them into a zip lock bag with salt thats been wetted down to resemble wet sand on the beach.
Put in your hyg., seal it and wait a good 8 hrs. They should register 75% after that. Note the difference and then you go by that, either adding or subtracting to get the right RH.
