They aren't our direct neighbors, but still I'd like to keep the peace somewhat. No harm was done, but likely would have happened if I hadn't been there.

Their house is about 80 yards from our property line, and with 5 acres and an open easement running through the property, fencing isn't feasible, especially trying to keep out a little toy dog like that.

Wow, this is a great idea! I have to admit, while reading this to DH my eyes watered a little while laughing. Seriously, I do hope that this dog doesn't cause any more problems for you.
