(Leghorn x New Hampshire) has been molting and has started laying eggs again. The difference is that now they're white eggs not brown. I don't know why this is but each day the eggs have been getting darker. Today the egg I found was white and brown!

'Spray Booth' glitch as she comes back into lay....or it can happen any time.
Brown eggs are white shells with brown coating, the coating can vary in hue and be uneven.

That is just her eggs from molting i have seen it in the chickens i use to have around 50 to 80 chickens at a time and right after molting they would be like that or smaller than the ones you get from them right before molting

Nothing wrong with her or the egg. It just takes a bit for the system to figure things out again. Like aart said - Brown eggs are simply white eggs with a brown tint added to them. Some times the tint isn't applied well. Nothing to worry about.
