Two year old buff orpington odd hen behavior that started about a week ago.

I have 5 hens, three are two years old and the other two are around 9-10 months old. We had a rooster that came with the older three but had to rehome him a while back. None of them have gone broody but this particular hen has been acting similar to how our rooster acted. She is the smallest of the bunch and the highest on the pecking order. What is she doing? And why did this start all of a sudden?

She is pre broody. The staccato clucking is an indicator of that fact.
