I found this forum looking to solve a 'baby' problem. I think she may have a hurt tendon on her left leg. Finding one tutorial on this site, I have ordered 1" wide vet wrap, and trying to fix her.

Poor thing. We us a product called DMSO for this type of minor strains and sprains in both our ducks and chooks and has worked very well for us.

I believe we bought it at TSC and applied it once a day with rubber gloves on. Not much for instructions on the jar, but it will heat up a bit when applied and seems to do the job. Maybe some other more experienced members can chime in and help you also.

I raised 50+ chickens and roosters about 7 years ago, but this is the first time with chicks.

I have 20 chicks 10 Black Australorps, 10 Buff Orpingtons.

I am looking forward to feeding my family with eggs and meat.

I am a 'machine' knitter, and crafter.

I have two Border Collies and a Tuxedo kitty.

I've been watching the posts on Facebook and happy I found this site...such a great resource!
