Tylan 50 dosing for ducks?

I have a Pekin that is raspy and just isn't tolerating oral medications. I have injectable Tylan 50. How much should I be giving him? How often? He is 9lbs.

Most of the info on Tylan dosing is incorrect.

Tylan can cause severe injection site reactions, so if I were going to use it again I would give it orally, not by injection.

It must be given by weight several times a day whether giving by injection or orally. Minimum dose is 0.2 ml per pound every 6-8 hours, so a five pound duck would get 1 ml 3-4 times a day.
