I just want to double check. I'm dosing serama and serama size birds (have a couple randoms too lol- 2 modern game bantams and a sebright) and can only buy injectable tylan, but am dosing orally. I did 1/4 cc. I am planning to do this for a week per instructions I found here.

Two are congested. I'm treating them all though because I'm concerned they'll just pass it back and forth otherwise.

Thanks!

How much does your birds weigh?

Injectable Tylan50 has a wide range dose of 10-40mg/kg given 2-3 times per day for 5 days in a row.

1/4 (.25)ml sounds about right for a Serama, but you want to give it at least 2 times a day.

What do you think you are dealing with? Mycoplasma, Infectious Bronchitis? Antibiotics will help with secondary infections, but won't cure a respiratory disease. While it may seem like a good idea to treat all, it would be better to only treat birds that are symptomatic. It sounds like all have been exposed, so they are all carriers anyway, even if you have a few that never show any symptoms.
