I have a flock of 25 and noticed one gurgling and 2 sneezing. Weather has changed drastically in northern Michigan from summer to cold and wet fall. This morning is treatment day 6 of 7 for Tylan (1 tsp power per gallon). As of yesterday, 2 are still sneezing. Can I treat for 10 days? Or should I stop at 7?

Tylan won’t help if you are seeing a virus, such as infectious bronchitis or ILT. Tylan only treats MG, and perhaps helps coryza. You could treat for 10 days, but the usual time for Tylan is 3-5 days. You should normally only treat the sick or symptomatic birds with the Tylan. If the 2 birds still sneezing became sick later, then that is why they are still needing the Tylan. Did the other sick birds recover with the antibiotic?

The new two sneezing came on after the first. The other one bird has recovered. If this persists, any suggestions for what to treat infectious virus appreciated.
