Tylan

Yes I can hear their breathing, they have runney noses, and sneeze. The babies have this too how much for them? Where do I inject it? Can I put the injectable in the water? How long do I give this to them? Until the water runs out? Can I eat the eggs?

1/4 cc for bantams and chicks and 1/2 cc for standard birds > I use it 3 to 5 days and give it in the back of the neck. Pinch the skin and put the needle in but not far. Good luck! Might toss the eggs for 10 days.

Maybe to late to post,
when i use the tylan, injectable for goats, horses etc. I use the same amout noted in previous post, but via mouth with syrynge and pediatric tubing, must do it at least 3 days in a row up to no more than 5. snd it , in my opinion is quck acting by the third dose, even though symptoms disapated, i gave it anyway. When i do it via mouth, the pediatric tubing is merely easier to put in mouth, as i do not want it to go into lungs.

I may be late posting too, but I just used Tylan 50 injectable, and I gave it orally. It was easy, I didn't use tubing. I just had my DH (any exra set of hands will do) hold her and I opened her beak and squirted it in. I did make sure I tried to squirt toward the side where the crop is and I didn't go way down her throat, but just like she could drink in down. Hardly lost a drop. Saw improvement in 2 days, but gave it to her for 4. (Probably should've done it one more day, but hate to use too much.

Don't know about using the eggs, didn't even think about it...hope we can still use them because they're mixed in, and in cartons now. oops.

Good luck!
