Has anyone ever tried Tyler's Fried chicken recipe with a 6 month - year old cockerel?
I'm wondering if by slow cooking it first, if it will soften the skin and tenderize the meat? I hate the thought of wasting perfectly good roaster, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has ever tried it and what the results were first. I love the strong flavor in these older guys and my two year old birds make a tremendous chicken and dumplings.
