Tylosin soluble dosage for chicks

Is the dosage for tylosin water soluble powder the same for all age chickens? I can't seem to find anything regarding a smaller chick dose versus adult chicken dose. The injectable is different for standard vs bantam size. Why wouldn't the water soluble kind have different dosage amounts based on size.

The dosage is the same for all ages, since they calculate that smaller chickens will drink less than larger chickens. Most all medicines added to the water are like that, including Corid, oxytetracycline, and certain worming medicines. The dosage is usually around 1 tespoonful per gallon for 3-5 days. If a chicken is not drinking well, which can be common in sickness, Tylan 50 injectable can be given orally. Dosage is 1/8 ml for a chick, 1/4 ml for bantams, 1/2 ml for chickens under 5 pounds, and 1 ml for over 5 pounds, given orally or by injection, twice a day for 3-5 days.
