Type of comb? Breed?

Any guesses on what type of comb he will have? The thought on my last post is that he’s a New Hampshire Red. The chicks I’ve seen of those seem to have a different looking comb at this age, maybe the growth is just slow?

It looks like it could be a cushion comb (like on a Russian Orloff) or possibly a modified pea comb.

I disagree. It has a pea comb and is a mixed breed. Perhaps it has game or Easter Egger in its background but time will tell

Definitely not a NHR but not sure what it could be.
