Just wondering what type of feed do you give your ducks? I've heard many conflicting views.

Feed specifically for waterfowl.

Then, look at ingredients and organic etc.

You can get great organic duck feed online.

I feed ducklings all flock raiser
Once they reach laying age, I swap over to a layer feed. I have both ducks and chickens and everybody is healthy.

All our ducks get Purina Flock Raiser - hatchlings get wet crumble in the brooder, dry crumble as they are transitioning to pellets, and pellets once they are full grown. It is a complete feed and it is what Dave Holderread told me is the best commercial feed for ducks (he blends his own feed).

We also have chickens and they eat dry Flock Raiser crumbles as they transition off medicated chick starter and then pellets when they are full grown. You can feed duck feed to chickens but chicken feed is not adequate for ducks without adding supplements. Layer feeds should not be fed to drakes or roosters.
